Successful applicants will be given a 12month contract to our commercial division with opportunities to work nationally on campaigns and be contracted overseas in Asia and Europe. Our commercial division is made up of fashion models and editorial models who aim for a career in the modelling industry and we are looking to expand this division. If selection our commercial division models have their "portfolio book" (simply known as "Book") built for them by Paradox Management. There are no costs associated with this (or for joining Paradox Management in any division!!). We are always on the lookout for fresh faces who have potential in either the fashion or editorial modelling industries, who are going to be able to build a strong career both here in Australia and in overseas markets. If you believe that you have a suitable look, or even if you are unsure, please attend our open call on Saturday 23 August 2008 at Newcastle City Hall. There are no pre-requisites to be considered as a commercial model (although you will only be considered as a runway model if you are over 173cm tall), and you need not have any previous experience in the modelling industry, if you are suitable we will shape you into a model! When: Sat 23 Aug 08 Where: Newcastle City Hall, King St Newcastle (Mulubinba Room) Time: 9am What To Wear: Please wear something that shows off your figure and decent underwear or swimmers. Girls over 14 must wear heels. What To Bring: Please bring a recent shot of yourself to the open call or if you have worked before, please bring your portfolio and composite cards. What To Expect: A panel of Agents from the agency and/or industry professionals will see you on the day. There will most likely be television camera's and your interview may be recorded. The panel will look at your photos, may ask you to walk on our catwalk or may just simply have a chat with you about your dreams, goals and experience.
